Stylish Outdoor Living Design — Experiencing Global Design Excellence in Pattaya

The Classic Chair × Royal Botania — When timeless European craft meets Thailand’s coastal modernity.

Late Afternoon Elegance at North Pattaya

As the late afternoon light turned golden over Sukhumvit Road,
the glass façade at the corner of North Pattaya shimmered with quiet sophistication.

Inside, a new chapter of design unfolded — the unveiling of The Classic Chair Company’s Outdoor Living Showroom,
a dedicated space where craftsmanship, comfort, and contemporary form met under the warm coastal glow.

By five o’clock, guests began to arrive — architects, interior designers, hoteliers, and developers from Thailand’s most discerning design circles — welcomed by a soft hum of jazz and the scent of fresh florals.
Champagne flutes caught the last of the sunlight as curated trays of fine canapés, cocktails, and premium wine circulated through the space.
As twilight fell, the atmosphere became effortlessly intimate — a gathering that felt more like a soirée of ideas than a commercial event.

A Vision Beyond Furniture

For The Classic Chair Company, this event wasn’t about introducing another showroom — it was about expanding the narrative of design itself.

The new Outdoor Living zone, seamlessly connected to the brand’s existing indoor gallery, embodies a growing appreciation for outdoor living among Thailand’s high-end clientele.

“Royal Botania doesn’t design to impress — it designs to endure, Every piece showcased here has been part of world-class projects —each one tells a story of form, precision, and the beauty of restraint.”

said Thirat Nardviriyakul, Managing Director of The Classic Chair Company.

The Atmosphere Where Design Meets Dialogue

By early evening, the showroom was alive with a low, warm energy.
Guests lingered among the displays, admiring the craftsmanship of teak, aluminium, and stone — materials that spoke softly but confidently of their purpose.

Notable guests included executives from Honour Thailand Co., Ltd.,
a luxury real-estate developer headquartered in Pattaya, known for high-end mixed-use projects such as Once Pattaya and Once Wongamat, and for its expansion within the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) — a sign that refined living and architectural quality are converging along Thailand’s eastern coast.

“When two brands share the same obsession for detail, the result isn’t just beautiful furniture — it’s a shared language of design. What we’re building here goes beyond a partnership; it’s a dialogue between craftsmanship and culture. Thailand understands the art of living — and when that meets Royal Botania’s precision, you get something truly timeless.”

Francis Vanbellen, CEO of SDesigns and Director of Royal Botania Asia

Shady Slim From French Château to Thai Sunset

At the entrance, the Shady Slim Parasol cast elegant shadows over an Exes Armchair and Traverse Folding Table. The trio welcomed guests with a composition of teak, stainless steel, and light —a prelude to the evening’s theme of effortless refinement.

The Shady Slim’s heritage runs deep: it graces the gardens of Château de Bagatelle and Domaine Bagatelle in France,
where its slender teak frame and precision-cast fittings create shaded tranquility beside centuries-old stone walls.

More than an accessory, it’s a statement of proportion and calm.

“We came too late to invent the parasol — but just in time to perfect it,”

— Royal Botania Design Team

In Pattaya, the same parasol reflected the warm twilight glow,
bridging continents through design that transcends time and place.

Mozaix Lounge The Architecture of Rest

At the heart of the showroom stood Mozaix Lounge, a sculptural modular composition that feels more like habitable architecture than mere seating.
Its warm teak surfaces and QuickDry fabrics balance structure and softness —a design that breathes naturally with the fading light.

Previously featured in the Domaine Bagatelle estate in France,
Mozaix became a symbol of harmony between geometry and comfort.
Here in Pattaya, it anchors the space — the quiet centerpiece around which conversations flowed and glasses clinked.

“We want our furniture to have a life of its own — not just exist as objects,”

– Thirat shared.

Ninix Lounger & Palma Parasol The Art of Movement

ust beyond the main display, the Ninix Lounger reclined under a Palma Parasol, their silhouettes echoing one another — strength meeting stillness.

This pairing was famously featured aboard the 90-meter superyacht “Here Comes The Sun,” a collaboration between Royal Botania and ECC, where collections like O-Zon, Traverse, Palma, and Shady
grace decks that drift across the world’s most glamorous waters.

“A yacht moves, the light changes, but design must stay balanced — that’s the challenge we love,”

noted the Royal Botania design team.

As the evening breeze swept through Pattaya’s coast, the arrangement felt like a subtle dialogue between air, light, and craftsmanship.

Elevated Calm Royal Botania in the Austrian Alps

Royal Botania’s vision extends beyond coastal luxury to alpine serenity.
At the five-star Hotel Krallerhof and its award-winning wellness retreat, ATMOSPHERE by Krallerhof, designed by Hadi Teherani Architects, the brand’s Organix Daybeds and Palma Parasols
create tranquil moments amidst sweeping mountain view.

The project has garnered international recognition —
from AHEAD Europe, MIPIM, BLT Built Design Awards, and ICONIC Awards — for its fusion of sustainability, architecture, and wellbeing.

“The building is subordinate to this wonderful landscape, but it is still present,”

said architect Hadi Teherani.

This balance between form and nature is precisely what defines Royal Botania — designs that belong everywhere yet never compete with their surroundings.

Quiet Luxury by the Sea

As the final glow of dusk reflected on teak surfaces,
the evening settled into a calm rhythm. Guests stood by the glass façade, sipping the last pour of Chardonnay, while soft light from the Shady Slims outside drew silhouettes on the showroom floor.

Every piece on display — Mozaix Lounge, Ninix Lounger, Palma Parasol, Shady Slim, Traverse, Exes, and Ostrea Chair — has lived in extraordinary places: a château in France, a yacht in the Mediterranean, a spa in the Austrian Alps.

Now, these same designs have arrived in Pattaya —
not as imports, but as inspirations.

“We create furniture not to be admired from a distance, but to be lived in,”

said Francis Vanbellen.

This was more than a showroom launch.
It was a celebration of global design meeting local soul
and the start of a new chapter for outdoor living in Thailand’s luxury landscape.
