Bangkok, Thailand — In a night that redefined elegance, SDesigns proudly partnered with Royal Botania to bring “The White Lotus: Expect the Unexpected” to life at the BeLuThai Gala 2025, held at the Conrad Bangkok Grand Ballroom.
Far beyond a conventional showcase, SDesigns curated an immersive experience at the ballroom entrance—blurring the lines between high-end outdoor design and evocative contemporary art. Anchored in the theme “Indulge in Finesse,” the installation offered guests an intimate journey into the world of Royal Botania, Belgium’s iconic outdoor furniture brand.
A Curated Intersection of Art, Design & Diplomacy
At the heart of the exhibition stood design icons like The Carés, Archy, and Exes chairs, alongside the Traverse Table, each piece a tribute to the harmony between form and function. These were thoughtfully placed among powerful artworks by celebrated international artists:
Bill Bensley‘s “The Great Mountain of the Great Hornbills” — a vibrant symbol of Southeast Asia’s abundance and vitality
Amy Diener‘s color-soaked patterns — radiating inner balance
Ahmed Ghouma‘s graceful linear interpretations of elegance
Together, they told a story—not just of furniture, but of presence, purpose, and cultural dialogue.
